I stopped smoking with hypnosis

“ I was always a bit weary of having hypnotherapy/NLP sessions to give up smoking; it is a very important decision and requires determination and self-convincement. Teija advised me to take this session but reiterated that it would only work if I was prepared and motivated to stop smoking. It is important that your mind is ready to accept the fact and Teija reiterated its importance. She is not a magician and portraits trust in these sessions.

Few days before the session, Teija did some preparatory work and asked me to complete a form related to my every day habits, past and present health issues (if any), medications, etc.; also, there is a document that is to be read prior to the session. The document basically talks about how smoking impacts in our lives, how much damage a cigarette does, etc. I found it quite shocking, it put me in perspective and I touched reality. Already my mind was set and I think I even smoked much less on the same day I read the document. I started to question my habit.

The session itself was a wonderful journey to my inner self. Teija has a very subtle way to get to your mind and works simultaneously with your conscious and sub conscious; at one point, I found myself talking to my sub-conscious and asked it to release me from this horrible habit.

Her way is very professional, and she takes you to the depth of your mind without any pressure or discomfort. I wondered during the session why I was so silly to smoke and all was done in a pleasant manner, so relaxed that I did not want her to stop. She talks to your cognitive and non-cognitive mind in an easy manner.

As a result, all those old self-limiting beliefs about smoking: like smoking helps you relax or feel somehow better, how you smoke because you're addicted to nicotine, or how it's going to be really hard to quit, all these self-limiting beliefs became easily and comfortably a thing of the past.

I do not miss smoking and have replaced old habitual smoking behaviors with far more natural and healthy stuff. I feel mentally calmer, physically more relaxed and altogether more confident.
